This exam is the PRO: Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, Managing Projects and Programs. The applicants of this exam can be the following: program manager; project manager; part of the project management office; or member in the deployment of an Enterprise Project Management solution. The applicants are in charge for analyzing, managing, and reporting on projects and programs in the MS Office EPM environment. The applicants must be able to improve the Office EPM environment more to generate solutions for business problems. It is recommended that the applicants have solid understanding of the key project management terminology and concepts found in the PMBOK guide of the Project Management Institute. The applicants should also have broad practical experience in both Project Web Access 2007 and MS Office Project Professional 2007.
If the applicants pass this exam, they will earn credit certification towards Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007.

This exam will determine the ability of the applicants to complete the following:
Managing Data Access and Collaboration – the applicants must manage the following: groups, users, permissions, categories, and Resource Breakdown Structure. They should also archive projects; maintain data integrity; manage project workspaces; apply regional settings, create a library of enterprise project templates; and manage My Resources reminders and alerts.
Planning and Troubleshooting Active Projects and Programs – the applicants should optimize for cost, resources, and time. They should also refine a program; plan a program; and set baselines.
Controlling Projects and Programs – applicants must account for time; create non-project time categories; identify variances outside threshold; and control changes.
Managing Resources – applicants should propose or commit a resource; set up skill-based resources; set up role-based resources; identify critical resources; manage resource pool; and manage team assignments.
Reporting and Analyzing Business Data – the applicants must manage reporting; customize views; perform Earned Value Analysis; build, configure, or modify a cube; and report risks and issues across enterprise by escalations.
